Oooh DIAMONDS 💎💎💎
Who doesn’t love diamonds? 🤷♀️ They’re sparkly, ✨ amazing, 😍 gorgeous 💍 and extremely expensive. 💸 Oh nooo… 😳 But I wanted to do a diamond nails design. 💎💅 Well, thank God for rhinestones! 😉 Otherwise one would need to take out a mortgage just to do these nails. 🤔
Anyways, to do this design I used some flat back bling, 💎 silver nail polish, 🎨 chrome powder by Sparkle & co that I got from Amazon ✨
and a no wipe gel top coat. 💧💅 The last two came in a kit. And of course any time you’re using gel you will need a lamp to cure it. 💡 The lamp I use is uv/led Melody Susie. It’s also good to have something to pick up the rhinestones. It will make your life a lot easier.
So this is pretty simple
First step is the nail polish. 🎨 Apply it and let it dry fully. 💨 Step 2 is gel top coat. Apply one coat of it and cure it for 60 seconds under the lamp. 💡 Once that’s done it’s time to apply the chrome powder. The easiest
way to apply it is with a disposable eye shadow applicator. The kind that has a spongy tip. One of these came in a chrome kit. You will see your nails change right in front of your eyes into this gorgeous reflective silver aka mirror nails. 😍 Now this is great, because it will add so much extra shine to the already fabulous diamonds aka rhinestones aka crystals.
Once you can see your reflection ✨✨✨
…in every nail it’s time to apply another layer of clear gel top coat. Don’t cure it just yet though. Now is the time to place the rhinestones. 💗💎 While the gel is still wet pick them up with your rhinestone picker upper tool. Place them on top of each nail. When the rhinestones are all in place it’s time to cure your sparkly diamond nails.
And Voila 🎉🎉🎉
